Nice processing! Who would have thought you could get
a result like that from such a "humble" start? Those
automated corrections you have developed look like
they work great. 

I especially like the idea of automated channel
registration for lateral color correction. That's
because I have some dozen shots I took with a 300-mm
non-ED telephoto on 35-mm that clearly show the
effects of lateral CA. I would *love* to be able to
run these through an automated process to correct the
worst of it (except for the inevitable blooming of
stars in the blue layer - I suspect that will take
some manual work in Photoshop). 

Dare I ask it, is there any chance you could share any
of your software?
