[APML] Shots re-done and looking for input please
Hey all,
I've spent about 10 hours on the computer today getting the backgrounds
darker, erasing lint, dust and scratches. I could not believe how right
some of you were, about the backgrounds in particular. When I looked at
them this morning I was blown away at how skewered they were. Green,
blue, gray, they were all there. Maybe they still are.
I'd appreciate it if y'all could take another, critical look and let me
know what you think. I have not got around to re-working M31, NGC 6992
and the 2 Iris shots. But the other 8 are up for grabs. I just finished
(11:30 PM) M33 and I think my eyes were going wacky on me, so I'm
greatly interested in opinions on it's color.
I'd like to thank Greg Hartke and Scott Ireland for their help. Greg
gave me the low-down and Scott was kind enough to attempt to share his
knowledge with me. If he only knew the actual method I used on the dust
and lint, he'd probably die. Something I invented on the run, and I'm
sure its not recommended. I'm a rule-breaker though, so I gotta be me.
I did learn some new things today and it was very interesting. Thanks
to all of you for your help, encouragement and suggestions. I just hope
I don't turn out to be a lost cause.
Anyway, check them out and let me have it:

Thanks,
Alan
