Hello! This is a little off topic, but I’ve just
started to scan my astrophotos. I’ve read a couple of books on
image astrophotography image editing, but I am still a complete newbie. I see that many astrophotographers on
this list use Photoshop. I’m considering purchasing Photoshop and the
book/CD “Photoshop for Astrophotographers” to get started. It
appears that some of the older versions of Photoshop would work well. “Photoshop
for Astrophotographers” lists version 5 in its description. I’ve checked the availability of
older versions on Ebay and Amazon. I’ve never purchased used
software before and I want to ensure I don’t purchase a program that is
in copywrite violation. Is there anything I should look for to ensure I
purchase an appropriate item? Or does the current Photoshop CS have
additional features that make it the selection of choice for astrophotography
image editing? Thank you and best regards. Mike --- |
