I did not do calibrating in RS. I found the instructions rarher vague
an dnon-committal about this and many other issues. I simple registered
and combined using 'average. As I requested, I would love to hear any
advice and other suggestions regarding this feature and others. Anybody
have a RS tutorial that makes sense?

Is that the way 'weighting' is supposed to be setup. I tried several
variations and 80/20 gave me the smoothest result. I wanted to
over-emphasize the longer shot, the shorter one was very grainy.

TRhank you for your comments,
