[APML] How to clean a smudged negative? Resolution!

Hey all,

Well, it looks like most, if not all, of the suggestions I got for
cleaning dirty negatives will work. There are several commercially
available negative cleaners such as Photoflo and Erdwal(?). Even the
fairly small camera store, in a town of 50,000, where I do busines has
them in stock. I asked about the lighter fluid, and even that will
work.

The instructions I got were to: moisten a lint free cotton cloth with
film cleaner and wipe both sides of film gently in one direction. Cloth
should be clean and free of soap, detergent or dirt all of which can
cause scrathes. If needed, wipe the film dry with the same clean, dry
cloth.

Thanks for all the suggestions and hopefully, we have plenty of options
available for new guys with dirty negatives.
