I have not had a problem to this point. Also, I don't see how the
Gemini could have any effect on brightness readings. 

As with gear or worm slop in the mount, I would find it very
coincidental if all of a sudden I started having these problems at the
same time that the ST-4 started acting weird. It IS possible that this
is the case, but I believe that at least most of the problems are ST-4
related.

I recall him posting something on either the Gemini or Losmandy group
about a weird situation. I don't think it applies to all users of
Gemini systems and St-4s and STVs, at least I hope not.
