I really like the 135mm focal lenght. It is a good compromise between wide field and resolution (at least for film). I want to try them with a STL-11k camera, as Loke did, and see what can I do. I dream on having the whole milky way shooted with it <vbg>

I don't think so. There was no moonlight, and Orion was high in the skies. I was in the Atacama desert, near La Silla Observatory, without a cities in nearly 80km, and almost no light pollution. It might be a residual effect of the different air masses during the expositions, or just the different brightness of the sky becouse of the MW. I'm inclined to the second option. If you comparte the pic with some deep wider field images (from Matt's, for example, or Wei-Hao's) you'll see that there lies a bright zone of the Milky Way, with a blue coloration, and becouse I used Provia 400F, it is further noticeable here.

Thank you very much. I consider it as the best pic I ever took. I'm very happy (and proud) of it.
