I did this about 4 years ago on my first ST and yeah, the ring broke
into at least 3 pieces. It was brittle, so I'll be aware.

When I requested this one about a year ago, SBIG told me it was the
very last one they had. So yeah, I know that too. Which means I need to
be extra careful with the one I'm replacing. It may be the last ring
available to me.
