[APML] PS7; Dust reduction?

I notice there is a dust reduction option in the 'Sharpness' dialog box
in the scanner software. I usually leave everything alone and scan raw.
These are the 'dust reduction' options:
None
Normal
Maximum

Currently it is set to 'none'. Should I be using this feature?
