Alan,
You don't need to check the box for "Save Image Pyramid". This is only for
multiresolution information, for using with other programs that allow this.
Not necessary for your use.

Hey all,

Upon attempting to close open images, I notice in the 'Tiff options'
box, a check-box with "Save image pyramid" next to it. I don't recall seeing
it before. Now I'm wondering if this box should be checked. To this point I
have been leaving it un-checked.

Any suggestions?

BTW, I scanned a couple dozen negatives today, so beware, there will be more
idiotic PS questions to come. 8-)
