[APML] Photoshop 7 question

Hey all,

Upon attempting to close open images, I notice in the 'Tiff options'
box, a check-box with "Save image pyramid" next to it. I don't recall
seeing it before. Now I'm wondering if this box should be checked. To
this point I have been leaving it un-checked.

Any suggestions?

BTW, I scanned a couple dozen negatives today, so beware, there will be
more idiotic PS questions to come. 8-)
