Re: [APML] OT: Bubble in [SII], Ha and [OIII] light
Richard, I like the detail that you achieve when using
Ha for green, but I'm just too set in my ways and
can't get used to the overpowering green color....I
recognize that this is purely a matter of taste. I'm
also impressed that the lower image (Ha, OIII, B)
appears too soft to my eye, even though it contains
the Ha data in the red channel. Have you tried to use
Ha as luminance, and perhaps Ha-R (or Ha-SII) as the
red channel, with OIII for green and B for blue? This
might provide an interesting comparison as well.
Also, what does the SII channel look like in
comparison to Ha?
