RE: [APML] Astro Imaging mount capacity
The reflector is a newtonian (sorry for that). It weigts a little more than
30lbs and is 1015 mm focal length. Including guidescope, accesories and
camera, total weight close to 42 lbs.
regards,
Sergio

How much does the reflector weigh and what is it's focal
length?
Losmandy is one of those that you have to divide the listed
capacity by two. But even with that it is a darn good
value for the money. To get a better mount requires a
siginificant jump in cost.
Assuming a mass market SCT f/6 it should work great.
With a Newtonian you'll need to factor in the moment arm
as well as weight.

My system is a 10" reflector,an 80mm guidescope and an OM1 camera. The mount
that I have in mind is the Losmandy G-11.

I think it depends on the mount Sergio.
