I just ordered my first G-11 so I don't have a lot of hands on
experience with it. I did join the Losmandy users group and I think
that the conventional wisdom of that group would agree with what John
said. I think you'd be OK with up to a 5" APO, or a 12" SCT. A
newtonian is an entirely different animal and for photographic use,
might over-tax the G-11. If you're interested, you can link to the
