By 10", I assume that you mean a 10" newtonian, and not a 10" Schmidt Cass.
One thing that you also have to keep in mind is that the tube length. I
have used a 6" AstroPhysics refractor on my G11. The G11 was not really
capable of providing a consistently sturdy mounting for it, even though the
tube weight was only about 45#. It worked fine with my 11" Celestron or my
94mm Brandon (refractor). I think that a 10" f4 or greater Newtonian may be
a bit much for a G11 for photography.

that I have in mind is the Losmandy G-11.

I think it depends on the mount Sergio.
what is the specfic mount/scope combo to which you refer?
