I have to echo Jerry's comments ...
and since I am an IDA member I get to spout my 2 cents worth ...
1. That is not at all how this poster
should look ... as Jerry mentioned, you don't see color in the Milky Way naked
eye ...
2. The effects of light pollution are a
"white out" ... not a dark background where you can't see anything ... your
"light polluted" sky looks like mine when there's high clouds obscuring the
majority of the sky ... all you see is a black "nothing" ... a light polluted
sky is all lit up ...
I have done this sort of
comparison for my slide shows ... I might even have the files somewhere on a CD
... and as a few people mentioned, I can even do the printing ... if you have
some quantity we might even be able to do a one-time "deal" of some sort since
it's for a good cause.
