RE: [APML] Red Filter
Don't use plexiglass. It distorts the image and scratches. Go
to an art supply store and pick up some Rubylithe. It is a
colored film acetate that you cut with scissors to size. When
laid flat on your screen it adds zero distortion to the image
and a single sheet is usually perfect for the required light
level.
I generally buy a pack of 25 8.5" x 11" sheets every couple
of years. Around US$20 IIRC. One sheet will last for 3 or
4 months if you mistreat it <g>. The rest I wind up giving
away over the years. Or trade for a Coke....

Does anyone have a source for a red plexiglass laptop screen cover? I'd like
it precut to size. Thanks!
