Get rid of your metal tank and get a plastic one. Inversion with D19 or
HC-110 will cause uneven development. Curiously, you MUST invert with
Technidol. Make one to two gentle turns of the reel every 30 seconds,
no more. I guarantee your uneven development will go away, along with
the sprocket bleed unless the sprocket bleed is caused by moisture
which is a separate problem.)
There's at least two other threads on this in the archives so before
anyone tries to tell me that inversion with D19 works for them, save
your time, I'm sticking to my guns on this. I have absolute proof that
inversion causes uneven TP development. I have solved several people's
development problems by getting them to switch to a plastic
non-inverting tank.
BTW, tapping the tank is overrated and with a plastic tank you only
need to do it once anyway.
