RE: [APML] M52 region of Cassiopeia in Ha

Jeff,
It is probably best if you stick to the F1. The AE1 works, but I have a
modified battery setup that allows me dozens of hours of exposure
without worrying about failure. I had 2 of the camera's and modified the
back of one of them to accept a fitting for dry air purging, it seems to
work fine at this point. Moisture is somewhat of a problem, but not
significant at my house. My current film was hypered by a list member
with a high micron pump, the time escapes me, maybe he'll chime in with
the details. I can look them up for you later, I'm tied up at the
moment.

Scott,

Very nice image. I'm glad you posted it. I'm trying
to figure out the lay of SH2-155 for this weekend and
you placed it nicely for me.
Does the AE-1 work OK on those long exposures?
Is the screen bright enough? I've got one but never
used it. Went to an old Canon F-1. Maybe I should haul
it out.
How's the dew there? Do you dry air purge or N2 purge
with the Tech-Pan? What was the hypering time you
used?

Sorry about the list of questions but you presented a
bunch of things in this one image that I have been
wondering about.

Thanks
Jeff Allen
