Dominic, but are they grains or stars?  Looks a tad bluish too.  Might be a good film to try on aurora if blues and greens are dominant.

One of my friend told me that he used this film for astrophoto and the nebulae comes out red :) He mentioned too that it was new stuff bought. you can see a picture took with this film here http://www.spacew.com/gallery/image001568.html
