Re: [APML] Can't Reach Prime Focus, What Are My Options?

D'oh, why do I always miss the simplest solutions?

Thanks, Tony, I've been looking for an excuse to take it apart :-) I
moved the primary forward by an inch, now I can reach prime focus and
the AP eyepiece projection parts work now too (except for the generic
10mm EP, but I think it has a negative eye relief :-).

John, the base of the JMI focuser is too thick, so trimming the drawtube
wouldn't help.
Thom, the mirror is held to an Al plate with silicon, the plate has 3
studs pressed into it. The mounting plate has wingnuts on the ends of
the studs, they studs barely make it through the wingnuts. While I had
it apart, I gave them all an extra turn for some peace of mind.

I shot about 5 frames of the Moon, hopefully something will show up.
