I have asked that same question and a vigorous reply was do NOT turn on 
TVC or PEC. You should join the Losmandy_users group on Yahoo - they 
will bury you in info but this kind of question gets asked and answered 
about weekly there. I subscribe to the digest so one note per day and 
you get a lot of helpful advice.
