    Sure beats my site, even when there isn't smoke. The 2 stinger stars in
Scorpius represent my horizon! A guy could get used to your kind of
skies....

Hi all,

Here is a 16 minute snapshot with the 50mm lens(Yeah, theres coma at f/2.8)
on Supra of our galaxies central region, that Ive included the horizon in
for reference.  As you can see, the sky in Happy Jack is black all the way
down, with very nice transparency except for a slight yellowish tint from
the extinction band at the lowest levels.  This shot gives me hope of
captureing some really deep southern stuff with the schmidt. The shot is
