[APML] OT: Ilford inkjet photo paper and mail list archive questions

Hello,

I have an Epson 1270 and have always used Epson Premium Glossy photo paper
for printing astrophotos.  I was in the camera shop today and found Ilford
paper which ran about $20.00 cheaper than the Epson for a bundle of the A3
size.  I was thinking of trying some of the Ilford smooth pearl paper.

Has anyone used the Ilford paper with the 1270?  If so, how were your
results?

Also, I tried to search the archives on this subject, but the archive list
asks for a password.  I joined AMPL about five years ago and don't recall
specifying a password.  The archives were housed on a different server at
that point and were freely available.  Does anyone know how I can get a
password to the archives?
