RE: [APML] Question for APML guys who attended OSP



Alan,
Just took a quick look at my photos and nothing out of
the ordinary.  Friday night when it was real good I
shot the Eagle and the faint nebula above it then the
Pac-man in Cass. and then the California. No red cast
to any images but my timing on the NE. nebulae may
have been later than your M31 image. 
I think if you were 25 or 30 degrees above the horizon
on friday you should have been above the smoke and
junk hanging around the edges. I think the aurora was
early, midnite or before. Late friday was really
pretty good despite the smoke, huh? The view of Saturn
thru your pal's dob sat. morning was incredible!!!
Did you and Cindy figure out the scope purchase
logistics. Are you gonna get that FSQ?
