Re: [APML] OT: Nikon N90 vs N90s
One of the nice features of the N90s is that its autofocus is sensitive
enough for prime focus work at f/6.8. I can focus on a bright star,
bright planet, the edge of the moon, or the edge of the sun. I am
thinking of purchasing a digital SLR for next year's Venus transit of
the Sun. The N90s camera was introduced a decade ago so I would suspect
that the autofocus sensors of the D100, 10D and 300D are better than
that in the N90s. Can anyone comment on the ability of these dSLRs'
autofocus sensors working at f/6.8 for prime focus work?
Thanks,
Joe
