Hi Bobby:
I assume you want to stay with Nikon for your sports shooting because you
have those good Nikon lenses. If you can possibly stretch that budget for a
D100 (the digital equivalent of the F100) I would go for it in a minute! I
just bit the bullet and got a digital (Canon10D; quite similar to the Nikon
D100) and among the (more or less) hidden advantages of the digital box is
the ability to switch ISO speeds on a frame by frame basis. You can go from
ISO 100 in one frame to ISO 1600 in the next and then back again. Quite an
advantage when working with fast action in varying light situations. That
plus the ability to evaluate your exposure immediately provide major
