No Alen. That is incorrect. My Olympus Rings, one plain vanilla and the
one from Lumicon are vastly different and I cannot remove any pieces
from the vanilla ring to make it fit. So you are incorrect. See ?
Bothers you doesn't it ? Having someone tell you that you are wrong when
you are certain that you aren't ? You may choose to remember this.  In
my case the Olympus T-Ring from the camera emporium cannot be made to
work without the internal piece that Lumicon provides. This is also true
of the my Nikon Ring.

The OP can save a lot of grief by getting the appropriate T-Ring with
the OAG. That will work. And if at a later date another camera type is
desired then the appropriate piece can be removed from a regular T-Ring
and substituted.
