Re: [APML] Possible Fake or Worse??

Thanks for your kind words, Jerry. Yes, its the real work product of
the 10D. And here I thought it was, well, what it is: A neophyte's
first attempt. Actually, from the inside, I was quite insecure and
pensive about posting it at all, as its just not up to film's depth. I
find a filmed M31 a lot easier to software than this new 10D, but much
of the same strategies apply. The concept of dark frame subtraction and
many light frames is tediuos for me at this point, and adding 7-10 more
frames to this image could improve it a lot. But, its off-center and a
new night will bring new opportunities.

It is strange in the max though to have my integrity questioned. Oh
well, its bound to happen to any of us who would give these gadgets a
try. Those who would doubt don't realize we've been working in
digitized imagery for years. The level of doubt will be inversely
proportional to the number of new images made by the likes of our kind.

Best regards,

Stephen Pitt: http:/www.light-to-dark.com/
