Thanks for speaking up. It's good to see that one can mention the 10D in
public on this forum without being cast in a negative light! (I think it's
closer to film photography than CCD, if one can compare.)

For what it's worth, I concur.....the image looks like it could be a 10D
pic. I haven't shot M31 yet, but from my experience the level of signal and
noise seems realistic. I must also add that, IMHO, questioning the
legitimacy of a photo submitted/published probably should not be done in an
open forum such as the APML. This is just a hobby, and the damage done just
by publicly challenging a person's reputation is not worth it. Perhaps such
things should be discussed in private, or face to face with the person
involved.

BTW Carl, I'm a relative newbie in astrophotgraphy, so I haven't seen your
name in my searches.
Do you have a website? I'd love to see some 10D shots you've taken.
