Oh, I didn't mean to sound like the HP Photosmart was no good for
astrophotography at all. After all, I use one myself for such activity!
What I meant to be more clear on was that with the scanners available on
today's market, I would not buy a Photosmart knowing it would be used
heavily for astrophotography. There are other more versatile units that are
competitively priced for the added benefits they provide. In other words,
when I got the Photosmart years ago, other higher end units were priced out
of my reach. Now the price gap is much reduced and there are other options
besides the HP. Make more sense, or am I still chasing my tail <g>?
