Re: [APML] Forming Gas from where now??

This may be the easiest part of all - BOC, Air Products, Linde Gas, all
supply forming gas. But they won't know what you mean by forming gas - tell
them you want 92% Nitorogen and 8% Hydrogen. No-one from outside the US
ever had any gas from Lumicon in the first place - it could never shipped
internationally. (actually there was one silly thing that Lumicon did: to
ship me an *empty* cylinder (knowing in advance that the gas could not be
shipped internationally but the cylinder could)) So I paid considerable
freight for the empty cylinder and when it arrived it was useless - the
Lumicon cylinder is not a 'proper' cylinder - it is rated to only 300 PSI
and if filled by any one of the gas supply companies it would blow it apart
- their standard fill is usually to at least 200 Bar. They prefer to fill
only their own cylinders. If asked to fill an 'alien' cylinder they insist
(rightly) on testing it first (so as not to create a bomb). But one thing
is for sure: none of them will touch the Lumicon cylinder
