There's an easy answer here... before you click 'OK' or 'Apply'...
check 'Preview' and set 'Method' to 'Absolute Difference'. Look at
the 'Preview' image... the closer to black... the better the registration. This
is a quick way to determine registration and is covered in the 'White Paper' on
astrophotography at Digital Light and Color's web-site... and is also in the
help files *if* you downloaded the full disk info. I, too have some lunar pix
I'd like to stack this way... let us know how yours turn out!
