Forming gas is (or was?) a catalog item from Linde Industrial Gasses.  It is
used in the semiconductor industry.  Any good welding supply shop can also
custom mix 92% nitrogen and 8% hydrogen for you.  Ask for an analysis of the
mixture (at additional cost) to insure the ratio is correct.
