The GREATEST advantage of
attempting to run any astro business is that you get to use your equipment as a
tax deduction if nothing else... of course it helps to show the IRS that you
have made a few sales, been to a few star parties to attempt sales, maybe take
out a cheap ad or two... anything to show that you are serious in this pursuit.
With equipment getting more and more expensive as technology keeps advancing,
and with the necessity of good equipment to shoot stuff that is saleable to an
ever increasingly sophisticated audience, this is an important point to
consider. I should not have used the term wanna be in such a general scope...
heck I wanna be on a tropical beach right now!
