Teiva, the field is 4.5 x 6.5 degrees for the schmidt on 35mm.  it perfectly
frames IC1396. Here is a typical shot of the propeller neb in cygnus with
this instrument:

Chris, what field do you have with your schmidt.
Roland, yes my refractor is on a EQ6 mount and the tracking is made with
 a 80mm refractor (power 180x).
My periodic error is +/-15" and there is no ""non-smooth""......thus the
 guiding is easy to make. The EQ6 mount is not a hgm200 but for the
price I think it is good.
I will post (soon) a star "trail" test of my EQ6's perriodic error.
