On the topic of the new STV firmware and STV improvements in general,  I 
would be very interested to hear from anyone who has attempted installation
of the CFW-5 filter wheel on the STV. This is supposed to make it possible to
take color imagesn and the examples on the SBIG site are tantalizing. 

Making the STV a great guider with color imaging capabilities as well would 
be a nice enhancement!
