Michael Barber of SBIG notified us STV owners of a new firmware update
earlier today. I downloaded the update from SBIG and tried in vain to upload
it to my STV for quite some time using the STV Remote program.

I finally found the problem. When you download the firmware update from
SBIG, it comes with a "BIN" file extension. The STV Remote program will only
recognize the file if the file extension is lower case: "bin"
