Ouch! Have you tried using a silk cloth to remove the haze? I routinely do
this with the PL3000. Every so often I allow the fluid to dry without
wiping it, then I use something called Inmac Glare Sentry II to clean the
glass. This product is used on CRT screens or any glass you want lint and
fingerprint free.
One other note, when the glass has the haze and I'm scanning, I just load
new fluid and continue as the fluid removes the haze. Or at least makes it
invisible.
