Here is a picture - very exaggerated - of the TAK
hotspot. I have pushed the levels in PS to make it grossly obvious.
For the purposes of this discussion, it just helps
show its shape and extent.
I have spent this morning playing with gradients
and have made big inroads on the spot but will keep fiddling a bit
more.
