I actually got sufficiently fed up with the email SPAM problem that I
ended up getting DSL through speakeasy.net which allows me to host my
own domain.  SPAM id down and I now run the web site off my local
machine.  Downside is that now *I* have to worry about keeping
everything secure.  Upside is I can use whatever I want to run the
website (in my case, there is a *lot* of dynamic content based on
PHP).

I can recommend them for the way I use them, which is basically as a
network provider, no other services---automatically billed and they
leave me alone.
