RE: [APML] Problem with scan and TIFs
You might want to look at PictureWindow. (Standard disclaimers ... ). It'll
cost less than upgrading PS, handles 16bit greys and 48 bit RGB's, TIF, JPG,
FITS, ....
It's not a paint program, but is extremely good for image processing.
I'm running PW Pro 3.1h, and have PhotoShop, Paintshop Pro, Corel
Photopaint, ULead PhotoImpact. (I think thats most of them). For general
image cleanup, contrast stretching, color balancing, ... none of them match
PW.

I checked the extension, it is .tif so that aint the trouble here. I wish it
was that simple!
Yes they did copy it with PS 5.5, I have 5.0 LE. I think that may be the
problem. Can I tell them to save it as some other format of TIF to avoid
this?
Where can I find details of the supported files (32 or 48 bit) in my PS?
Thanks Guys
Monte
