RE: [APML] Another bubble
John, a great field shot of the surrounding nebulosity. That nebula just to
the lower right of center is really outstanding.

Subject: [APML] Another bubble
We have seen a number of cool bubble nebula shots recently, and I was
thinking of which image to scan next. So why not scan an old bubble shot!
This is a 7 year old shot taken with a red filtered 8" Schmidt camera,
showing the extent of the surrounding nebulosity. (back when I had clear
skies!) Many people seem to chop off the fainter parts of the nebula, this
shot shows how extensive the nebulosity really is. The bubble itself is the
burned-out blob upper-left of center. Sepia toned for your viewing pleasure,
comments always welcome.
