RE: [APML] 17 Exposure Stack of the Bubble

Frank, the smooth velvety texture your image presents is definetely one up
on many of the CCD images Ive seen. I like your mix of star colors too, the
choice of mixing two films gives you a color advantage here.

Subject: [APML] 17 Exposure Stack of the Bubble

Well, call me crazy, but in the effort of avoiding the $8000 to $10000 tab
that a good CCD camera and all the trimming would cost, I have been working
with using good old film from my light polluted (4.2 mag) suburban back
yard. The result of my efforts so far is this 17 x 30 minute stack of
NGC7635 on un-hypered Kodak Royal Gold 400 (6 images) and Supra 400 (11
images). Of course Picture Window Pro, SBGNR, and esp RegiStar made this
crazy idea possible. I would like to double the number of exposures but that
might have to wait till next year. :-)

I welcome any comments of criticisms...
