The other real hard target for us was a fisheye view of the milkyway. A lot
of gradients (vignetting, foggy horizon, airglow) were visible and even if
we worked hard on it, they are not totally gone. But hey, nothing is perfect
:-))


Volker,

A stunning image of the Milky Way, any way you look at it.  One of these
days I have to get below the equator again and pay attention to the stars.

But I thought you might like to know the image has been posted reversed.  I
had to flip it left to right to get it to view properly.
