I asked a friend of mine, who speaks Icelandic for help, here is his reply:

My Icelandic is a bit rusty after serveral year, but to my best understanding, the that is the story:


60 rare birds commited suicide by flying into a wall at a military base in West-Benagal. Other birds seam not have to
have a probem avoiding the wall, which had been painted white recently.
Dunno what kind of bird a "duer" is, but it seams to be a rare one. Bird experts do not have a clue, why this happened
but a team of researchers will travel to the area to investigate the case.
