do you need a laptop with the 208/216?. Regarding focusing the 201xt, using
a high power eyepiece (7-10mm) with a parfocal ring will make it easy to
focus.. just focus the 201xt perfectly and then adjust the ring on the
eyepiece to match. Meade used to include the parfocal ring with the 201XT.

Experience is wonderful, if I knew then what I know now! (g)
