RE: [APML] First film results from Namibia

Volker,
Thanks for the explanation. I am waiting for my slides to be developed,
but I am thinking that the deep exposures of Provia may have enough red
so that the E200 will not be that important. Again, my thoughts are
that you would combine all 6 images either through average or median and
that would make your luminance. Not that grain is a problem with either
of these two films, but if you push the E200 two stops, it does become
noticable. Then you would take the red from the E200 and apply to the
total combined stack and the green and blue from the Provia stack. I
would think that would keep the grain low and maximize the color from
each respective film. Again, I don't know if the E200 will be
significantly better than the Provia to make this worth the effort. I
shot mostly Provia on M31, but did use some E200 with the thought that
it would highlight the red H2 regions.
