Re: [APML] New Images - The Aurora Borealis of 9/7/02
Thanks to Jim, Jeff, Bruce, Ray and Stan for the nice comments!
Jeff - I debated about using the neighbor's home in some of the shots but
decided it would add a sense of scale. I'm looking forward to seeing those
21mm shots.
Ray - You're right and now that I think of it, an aurora can vary so much it
is hard to have the perfect film. I know some of the guys in Alaska use 100
speed film for the bright displays. Those must be something else if you can
use such a slow film and still record a properly exposed image.
Stan - I think I'm going to buy some of the Fuji 800 you mention. And I
always have Provia 400F around... :-)
