RE: [APML] New Images - The Aurora Borealis of 9/7/02

Those are all nice.  I particularly like the one with the portrait
orientation.  I know what it is like to shoot wide field from a
subdivision<g>  It was like watching a great firework show at the
Blackforest starparty.  Lots of ooohhs and aahhs.  Thanks for posting.
BTW, I grabbed what I had with me and that was Provia 400 on a Nikon F3.
I borrowed my neighbors 24mm for a few shots and then a fisheye was
donated at 21mm.  I won't see anything from the lab until Friday:-(

If there is anyone on the list that has photographed the aurora a great
deal, what is the preferred film?  Or is there even such a thing?
